Reed Smith

Executive Director

Reed is a 4th year student at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario majoring in History of Art with a minor in Film and Media. He just completed a year abroad studying at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.

At Queen’s, Reed is a member of the Queen’s Debating Union and hosts a Radio show on the campus station. What takes up the most time, however, is his commitment to All the Queen’s Men, the Queen’s university all-male acapella group.

In the past, Reed has interned at CTV Morning Live and will be doing an internship soon at the Sundance Institute. In high school he held various school leadership positions, including Deputy Head Boy and Assistant Captain of varsity Rowing.

Reed hopes to continue in film as he is captivated with how we are evolving to consume media – especially how this evolution is affecting how we share and capture our own stories and meaningful moments, be it currently or from the past.
